The SeyWave® RF module is an ultra-low power wireless transceiver designed for low to mid rate data applications. It comes in a compact package for surface mounting including all necessary RF circuitry, on-board 8-bit microcontroller and ceramic antenna. The module further includes an integrated crystal, internal voltage regulator, matching circuitry and remote antenna option for connection to an approved external RP-SMA antenna. This transceiver operates at a maximum output power level of 0dBm at 250kbps in the worldwide non-licensed 2.4GHz band and is FCC and IC compliant. It utilizes GFSK modulation and has 79 selectable channels spaced 1MHz apart within the 2.4GHz band.

The SeyWave® RF module has 3 separate FIFO buffers for both TX and RX with the ability to automatically re-send packets for dependable insured delivery. The short on-air time along with packet drop detection allows the module to operate in crowded RF environments. The module can be controlled via digital/analog level signals or through serial communication.
