Elgin, Illinois, September 2, 2003 – Control Associates & Mfg., Inc. a developer and manufacturer of production quantity control panels for OEM’s has acquired the assets of BTR Controls, Inc., a designer and developer of electronic industrial controls. Control Associates will continue operations under the name BTR Controls, Inc.

Control Associates is a major producer of control products and complete control systems for original equipment manufacturers in the high speed door industry. Their Digital Gateway controller, now in the fourteenth year of production symbolizes the company’s philosophy of providing user-friendly controls that transcend normal product life cycles. In the area of control panel production, Control Associates has developed the necessary skills and just-in-time manufacturing techniques to economically produce large quantities of semi-custom panels for their OEM clients.
